Day One Fun

At the beginning of the day, we got on the bus and started off to Cardigan mountain for about 45min. Once we arrived at the main lodge we all met in a circle and played duck duck goose. After that, we split into groups and played a get to know you game with Mara. We had a quick snack, I had a PB&J. We ( a group of about 7 people ) started our walk on a sand trail with lots of roots and big rocks.
After we were walking for about 15 min we stopped to play a game. We also saw a cucumber in the woods and ate some. It was really good then we kept walking to see a marvelous waterfall with an amazing view of the crashing water at the bottom where we ate lunch on the seat on a fallen tree. As we left Mr. Woolner told us about the pushy hemlock tree. As we walked our guide saw really bad berries that dry out your mouth. Then we walked on a very long, boring tail. Rain, Rain, RAIN we played a game called the lava game walked back on a very wet trail then we got on the bus and went home.
Human environment interactions is a theme of geography, I think what we did on day one describes human-environment interaction. Because we eat cucumbers of the woods, we walked on trails which were made by humans and we had those gross berries.
